Peter was elected Member of Parliament for Leicester South in the May 5 2005 general election (results...) and increased his majority in 2010 General Election (results...). During that time he spoke regularly in Parliament, always putting the interests of Leicester and it's people first. Peter has always believed that expenses and allowances claimed by Members of Parliament should be available for public scrutiny. Whenever possible, he has voted in the Commons for complete openness. Details of expenses incurred in his role as an MP have been published on his website for some time.
